On Wednesday, 10/08/2025, the Chamber of Deputies removed from the agenda Provisional Measure No. 1,303/2025, which provided for changes in the taxation of financial investments and virtual assets.
With the expiration of the deadline for its conversion into law, the MP lost its effectiveness, without the proposed changes being implemented. The National Congress will have 60 days to issue a Legislative Decree addressing the provisions that took effect while the measure was in effect.
