Is Brazil ready to bury innovation in AI?

Adriana Rollo, our partner, was the organizer of the meeting held last month between women lawyers, entrepreneurs, and executives from major technology companies to discuss the regulation of artificial intelligence (AI) in Brazil. Together with our associate Vitória M. Alves, the group discussed how Bill 2338/2023 could be decisive for the future of Brazil, representing either a boost to the country’s innovation or an obstacle. Many still see AI as something distant, overlooking its transformative potential. The bill is still under consideration by the Chamber of Deputies.
