Eduardo Zilberberg is a co-founder and co-leads the Venture Capital and M&A practices. Eduardo is considered one of the most active and experienced lawyers in venture capital transactions in Brazil. Over the past 13 years, he has represented the most active venture capital funds in Brazil and prominent technology companies in hundreds of investment rounds, including the Series F round of R$ 1.15 billion from Loggi, the Series E round of R$ 1 billion from MadeiraMadeira, and the Series E round of R$ 450 million from Descomplica. He also worked on notable M&A transactions such as the sale of Waze to Google for US$ 1.1 billion and the initial public offering (IPO) of Decolar.com.

Eduardo worked for 5 years as an associate in the law firms Sullivan & Cromwell and Gunderson Dettmer in New York, initially focusing on mergers and acquisitions and later on venture capital transactions, where he gained significant experience in international operations and knowledge of the best practices of Silicon Valley.

Eduardo has been recognized for 4 consecutive years as one of the most active lawyers in venture capital and M&A in Brazil by the Transactional Track Record (TTR). His experience in venture capital transactions was acknowledged by the Legal 500 and in Latin Lawyer, having been named a “Rising Star” by the Startups and Innovation ranking of Leaders League.

A graduate of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo completed a postgraduate degree in Corporate Law at the Getúlio Vargas Foundation and earned a Master’s degree (LL.M.) at Stanford Law School. In addition to the OAB/SP, he is a member of the New York Bar Association. Eduardo is a mentor at Endeavor, ACE, and Latitud (startup accelerators).
