Guilherme Potenza

Guilherme Potenza is one of the most active and prominent venture capital and startup lawyers in Brazil. Guilherme’s track record includes hundreds of venture capital rounds, among them ground-breaking deals for the Brazilian ecosystem. He also helped many of the most sophisticated institutions in Brazil to set up their CVC funds and was involved in many exits of technology companies for the past decade.

A member of ABVCAP and Co-Chair of the Stanford Law School Brazilian Chapter, Guilherme worked for a prestigious law firm in the Silicon Valley with venture-backed M&A, as well as on venture capital rounds involving Brazilian and other international companies. He is the author of many articles and a book on M&A and venture capital. Guilherme also teaches the Venture Capital course at Future Law, and is a professor in the MBA program at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, teaching the Venture Capital and Private Equity Investments course.
